Tiffany Yu is a Registered Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with more than 10 years of experience supporting children with special educational needs and typically developing children in Hong Kong. As Founder and Director of Potens Psychology Services, she provides evidence-based Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) in home, centre, and school settings, in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Her clinical work focuses on behaviour assessment, individualised behaviour intervention plans, skill-building, and parent training for children with autism, ADHD, and other developmental needs, as well as children who need support with emotional regulation, social skills, and school readiness. She also designs and teaches group programmes on emotional regulation, social communication, and cooperation.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Specialist) from the University of Toronto, where she volunteered at SickKids Hospital, Geneva Centre for Autism, and 1-to-1 Rehab. She completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Behavioural Science Technology with Honours at George Brown College, with placements at Geneva Centre for Autism and Surrey Place Centre under the Toronto Partnership for Autism Services. She later earned a Master of Applied Psychology with Distinction from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, completed the BACB Verified Course Sequence at the Florida Institute of Technology, and obtained a Professional Diploma in General Counselling from the School of Continuing and Professional Studies, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Beyond direct therapy, she teaches ABA at a renowned continuing education centre in Hong Kong and is the author of Hong Kong’s first ABA Visual Guide Book for Parents and professionals, written to make practical ABA strategies usable for families and professionals. Her mission is to help children and families use effective behavioural strategies with confidence, and to make behaviour analysis clearer and more accessible in Hong Kong’s multicultural context.
